TRAINING OF DRIVERS AND MAINTENANCE PERSONNEL
Video Based Training
Efficient and quality assured training of drivers and maintenance personnel are among the most critical success factors in operation.
Besides classical hard copy manuals, we provide video based training for operation and maintenance. Thus, you avoid loss of information as drivers and maintenance staff can get first-hand information at any time. This improves quality of services, increases confidence and reduces downtimes and costs.
Manuals are available on rugged tablets with NFC readers which assist during repair and maintenance to directly identify the right components and related information.
Simulator Training
What is common in the airline industry since decades has been recently introduced to commercial vehicles by ETEFA. In specially designed simulators, identical with the ECO Green Bus cockpit and on-board systems of the buses, future drivers can be introduced to and trained on all systems of ECO Green Buses, as well as on the proper and most economic operation. All that can be trained in a totally stress free zone within your simulator centre (e.g. inside the bus depot). You should usually calculate with an initial training of net 1.0 to 1.5 hours and periodical refresher training of 0.5 hours per month. We recommend 1 simulator per 100 buses. This will significantly reduce costs of damages, maintenance and fuel consumption, and have positive influence of life span of vehicles and improve your environmental footprint.

ECO Driver’s Safety Training
ETEFA is the general franchisor of Test and Training International for Africa.
The core targets of ECO Test and Training are to reduce accident and fatality rate from road accidents by up to 80% while at the same time increase transport efficiency and reduce fuel consumption and overall costs of transport by up to 30%.
TTI is world leading group in driver’s training with over 35 years of experience. The group has build already 33 tracks worldwide. It is led by former Formula One driver and two times Le Mans winner Alexander Wurz and his father Franz Wurz, the inventor of modern Road Safety Training in Europe.

Statistics show that 90% of accidents are caused by human failure.
The road accident and fatality rates in Africa are a multiple of those in Europe.
In Europe, fatality rates could be reduced by structured and efficient road safety training over the last decades by over 80%.
Well trained drivers reduce accidents, save lives, reduce fuel consumption and costs of maintenance and repair.
They are the base of clean, economic and safe public transportation.
On special trainings tracks, drivers learn in a controlled and safe environment to handle and control extreme situations safely.
